141 Speedway to Give Away Modified, Stock Car & Street Stock Motors in 2012.

(Francis Creek, WI) February 6, 2012  - Three motors valued at $22,500 will be given away to modified, stock car and street stock division drivers, respectively, at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek in late August this year.
 
One lucky driver in each of the three classes, who competes in 75 percent or more of the weekly races, will have a shot at the powerplants, which are sponsored by 141 Speedway and Manitowoc Motor and Machining.

Badger Mod Tour Welcomes Wehrs Machine Racing Products as Contingency Sponsor in 2012

(Green Bay, WI) Feb. 3, 2012 – Wehrs Machine & Racing Products of Bangor, Wisconsin has signed on to become a product contingency sponsor for the Custom Windows Plus Badger Mod Tour presented by Floors By Design & Directional Drilling Services in 2012.
 
Wehrs Machine & Racing Products will provide a $50 product certificate to be awarded to the 10th place finishers in the A mains of each BMT event in 2012.

141 Speedway Readies for 2011 Awards Banquet

(Francis Creek, WI) January 26, 2012  – 141 Speedway in Francis Creek will host it’s 2011 awards banquet Saturday, February 4 at Fox Hills Resort in Mishicot.
 
Champions in all six divisions will be crowned. Rookie-of-the-year honors will also be doled out, along with most improved driver awards. Drivers who took part in 75 percent or more of the weekly shows will receive point fund money. Drivers need to be at the banquet to collect both point fund money and trophies.

Tri-County Heating, 141 Speedway Team Up On IMCA Northern Sportmod Giveaway

(Francis Creek, WI) January 24, 2012 – Tri County Heating in New Franken has signed on to become the primary sponsor for a 2012 Harris IMCA northern sportmod that will be given away later this year at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
 
The car will be awarded to a sportmod driver at the end of the year who races in 75 percent or more of the track’s weekly shows in 2012. In addition, division drivers who earn 100 percent attendance racing their cars all year will receive a mulligan – an extra chip in the drawing bag when the machine is awarded to a driver at season’s end in August. The value of the car, without a motor and transmission, is $15,000.

Consistency The Key to 141 Speedway’s 2012 Racing Season

Francis Creek, WI -  December 31, 2012 – If there’s one key theme to 141 Speedway’s last two seasons of racing at the Francis Creek oval, it’s undoubtedly been “change.”

 In 2010, the historic 1/4 mile paved oval, a Lakeshore tradition for one-half century, was taken out and replaced with a  high-banked, third-mile clay oval.
 
In 2011, the track switched it’s weekly program from Wedesday nights to Saturday nights.  More change. 

Badger Mod Tour Drivers Meeting January 19th at 141 Speedway

Francis Creek, WI; Dec. 22, 2011   – The first official drivers meeting for the newly created Badger Mod Tour will be held Thursday night, January 19 at 7 p.m. at the Victory Lane Sports bar located at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
 
The Badger Mod Tour is traveling modified series hosting dates at dirt ovals across the eastern half of Wisconsin in 2012.  A series schedule will be unveiled, along with the rules package, payout and points fund as well as other pertinent information. 

Three Time World of Outlaw Sprint Champ Sammy Swindell Hosts 141 Speedway Sippel Racing School July 9th

(Francis Creek, WI, December 16, 2011 ) – Germantown, Tennessee’s Sammy Swindell, of the nation’s winningest sprint car drivers, will be at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek Monday July 9 as a guest of the Sippel Driving school.
 
The 56-year-old Swindell, who has 267 WoO A main wins under his belt will be in attendance at the school, which will consist of both a classroom session and three on track sessions in both winged and non-winged sprint cars. “It’s huge having him come to 141 Speedway,” said Randy Sippel. “He’s pretty excited about doing it as are we. You never stop learning in anything, including sprint car racing.”

141 Speedway Hosts Sippel’s Racing School Friday October 21st.

(Francis Creek, WI)  October 19  – The Sippel Racing School for both
winged and non-winged sprint cars will be held Friday, October 21 at
141 Speedway in Francis Creek.

The session which begins at 4 p.m., includes one hour of classroom time,
and includes three, seven lap segments on the high-banked, third-mile,
clay oval.    Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint car frontrunner and
feature winner Mike Kertscher serves as one of the instructors of the
course.
