Ganski Scores In Late Model Feature at Columbus 151

May 13, 2012; Columbus, WI.  –  Jimmy Ganski of Rosholt, WI., made the long trip to the track worthwhile, as he drove off to his first career feature victory in the late model division. Spencer Schultz and Ganski made up the front row on the start, with Schultz taking the position early. On lap four, Schultz got loose in turns3-4, allowing Ganski to slip past into a lead he would never relinquish. Cautions on lap 13 and 15 brought the field up to Ganski’s rear bumper, but each time Ganski was up to the task, as Al Weishoff and Casey Johnson began reeling the leader in.

Gary Stark Jr., Sweeps Bandit Bowl at Columbus 151

COLUMBUS, WI. (Sunday, October 2, 2011). –   Gary Stark Jr. not only had the fastest qualifying laps and won the fast dash, he also had a little bit of luck on his side, as he crossed the finish line in second place, but won the 100 lap Bandit Bowl II feature event after the apparent winner failed post-race inspection at the Columbus 151 Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

COLUMBUS, WI (Friday, September 9, 2011) -  Dousman’s Scott Patrick took control on the opening lap and survived several cautions to capture the 50 lap Late Model main event at Columbus 151 Speedway on Friday night.  Patrick led every lap en route to picking up his first feature of the season.

Keeser Wins Moore Memorial at Columbus 151 Speedway

August 19, 2011; Columbus, WI. – Lincoln Keeser of Johnson Creek laid claim the Dick Moore Memorial Late Model main event on Friday night at Columbus 151 Speedway. Keeser led all 50 laps from the pole as no other driver could find a way to get past the veteran pilot.

Another Retallick Visits Victory Lane at Columbus 151

COLUMBUS, WI (Friday, August 5, 2011) – One week after Bill Retallick led every lap of the Late Model feature to get the win, Rob Retallick repeated the performance as he captured the 35 lap feature event at Columbus 151 Speedway.

Retallick and Andy Tomlinson paced the field to green with Retallick gaining the top spot as they exited turn four on the first lap. Tomlinson tucked in line behind Retallick with Michael Clapper up to third. The leaders lined up single file as the laps ticked away. Tomlinson followed Retallick closely as they maneuvered through lapped traffic at the mid-point of the race.

COLUMBUS, WI (Friday, July 29, 2011)  -  Marshall’s Bill Retallick started on the pole and held off some fierce challenges to gain the win of the 35 lap Late Model feature on Friday at Columbus 151 Speedway.  The part-time racer led every lap of the event as he withstood heavy pressure throughout the entire race.

COLUMBUS, WI (Friday, July 8, 2011) Fort Atkinson’s Ron Bishofberger successfully used a couple early restarts to make his way to the front of the field on Friday night and win the 35 lap Late Model feature event. The win marks the third feature victory on the season for the veteran in his quest to regain the points lead.

151 Speedway on Friday evening. The win marks Nolden’s first career Late Model
feature victory at the quarter mile speed plant.

Nolden led flag to flag to capture the 35 lap Late Model main event at Columbus. It was his first career Late Model feature win at Columbus 151 Speedway.

Nolden and Kurt Clapper brought the field to green with Nolden taking control
through turns one and two of lap one. Al Weishoff slipped past Clapper to claim
second with Clapper falling in line for third. The first of two cautions waved on lap eight with Clapper pulling to the outside of Weishoff on the restart as they battled for second. Clapper regained the runner up position with Nolden still showing the way out front.
