McGrath Doubles Up on 141 Speedway Creek Classic Features (Neosho Driver Wins Weekly Mod, and Outlaw Mod Mains)

(Francis Creek, WI) October 8, 2011 – Neosho’s Mitch McGrath scored a $2,400 payday at 141 Speedway’s Creek Classic Saturday. McGrath won both the Outlaw modified and weekly modified features, each paying $1,200 to win.

A total of 306 participants from three states took part in the nine class show. The field included 17 late models, 45 street stocks, 46 modifieds, 25 Brian Peterson Grand Nationals, 14 hobby stocks, 40 sportmods, 35 stock cars, 47 outlaw modifieds and 37 sport fours.

Skylar Holzhausen Takes the Big 8 Series Win at Oktoberfest

(West Salem, WI – October 8, 2011) - Speed was on display tonight for the third day of the 42nd Annual Livewire Energy Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Skylar Holzhausen came from the middle of the field to take the Big 8 Series win. Dan Jung showcased his strong car in the OUTLAWZ feature and James Swan capped off his 2011 Mid-American Series season with a win and a championship.

42nd ANNUAL LIVEWIRE ENERGY OKTOBERFEST

As of Wednesday afternoon nearly two dozen motorhomes were already on site in anticipation for the last big racing weekend in northeast Wisconsin in 2011.

Outlaw Modified Class Added to 141 Speedway Creek Classic Oct 7th and 8th~

(Rules allow USMTS, UMP and WISSOTA style mods to compete)
(Francis Creek, WI) October 3, 2011 – An additional “no holds barred” true outlaw modified class has been added to the Creek Classic October 7 and 8 at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.

This class will feature wide open motor and tire rules, and will allow drivers to run with an 8 inch spoiler. “We’re still going to run our regular modified class with our weekly track rules we’ve used all year, for the payoff which has been posted on our website,” said track promoter Bruce Conard. “We’ve got a lot drivers from southern Wisconsin and Illinois who have the roller motors and spoilers and they want to run. There is enough interest to add the class, which will allow USMTS, UMP and WISSOTA style modifieds to compete as well.”

Gary Stark Jr., Sweeps Bandit Bowl at Columbus 151

COLUMBUS, WI. (Sunday, October 2, 2011). –   Gary Stark Jr. not only had the fastest qualifying laps and won the fast dash, he also had a little bit of luck on his side, as he crossed the finish line in second place, but won the 100 lap Bandit Bowl II feature event after the apparent winner failed post-race inspection at the Columbus 151 Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

141 Speedway Slashes Prices for Creek Classic Oct 7th & 8th

(Francis Creek, WI) October 2, 2011 – 141 Speedway in Francis Creek has
announced it will slash admission prices for it’s Creek Classic slated for October 7 and 8.

Adult admission for Friday night’s action will be just 10 dollars, while students and seniors will pay just $7. Saturday’s adult ticket will be $15 with students and seniors $10. A two day ticket will be only $22 for adults and students and seniors will pay just $15.

Majeski Gets His First Big 8 Series Win at Rockford During the 46th Annual National Short Track Championships

LOVES PARK, IL (Saturday, October 1, 2011) – The famous wreath was about two feet off the ground, but Ty Majeski felt like a bigger man as he held off some of the best Big 8 Series competitors to win Parent Petroleum 108 on Saturday night at Rockford Speedway. Majeski, along with Doug Bennett, Ray Search and Mike Marden each etched their names into the history books for the 46th Annual National Short Track Championships.

“It is unbelievable. I held off Miller, Rubeck, and Wilberg for the win. This is unbelievable,” Majeski said. “We have come a long way this year.”

Seymour Super Speedway Ready for Fall Classic

(September 30, 2011- Seymour, WI)- This Saturday October 1st, Seymour Super Speedway will close out the season with their Fall Special. The five regular divisions will be racing along with the Grand Nationals and Late Models.

Racing will get underway at 2 p.m with the pits opening at 11a.m. The grandstands will open at 12:30 p.m. Admission will be $15.00 for adults,$10.00 for students and seniors with 12 and under free with a paid adult.

The Spectator Eliminator races will also be run at the end of the night’s festivities.
