Champions Crowned & New Winners at Kaukauna

September 1, 2011 – (KAUKAUNA, WI) - Nate Van Wychen’s first feature win of the season was overshadowed by Jeff Van Oudenhoven claiming the late model championship. Van Wychen took the lead from Jason Vandenberg with just two laps to go, after trailing Vandenberg for the first thirty three laps. As Vandenberg crossed the start finish line to complete lap 33, Van Wychen dove to the inside, and they race side by side through turn two, when Van Wychen pulled ahead.

Rothe Tops Faith Technologies Night at Kaukauna

(KAUKAUNA, WI; August 25, 2011 )  – Tim Rothe took home his third feature win of the season, passing Andy Monday for the lead on lap four. Rothe battled with Monday, racing side-by-side for three laps, until he finally cleared Monday on lap six, as they raced through turn two. Rothe went on to finish 2.949 seconds ahead of Monday. Dough Mahlik finished third, while Jeff Van Oudenhoven and Lowell Bennett raced their way through the field, both starting near the back of the pack, to finish fourth and fifth respectively. Van Oudenhoven holds an 18-point lead over Bennett, going into the final week of the season.

(KAUKAUNA, WI. August 18, 2011 ) - Travis Sauter passed Terry Baldry to take the lead on lap 56 as the two raced side-by-side through turn four. Sauter had been battling Baldry on the inside for the past several laps. With just 20 laps to go, Sauter began to extend his lead on the field, until the caution flag came out with just three laps to go.

(August 11, 2011; KAUKAUNA, WI) – Jeff Van Oudenhoven won his fifth feature of the season on Al Huss Auto & Truck Night. Lowell Bennett took the early lead until caution slowed the field on lap three, for an accident on the backstretch involving Austin Luedtke, who was challenging for second position. After a lengthy cleanup and red flag, Van Oudenhoven took the lead from Bennett as they race through turn two on the restart.

August 4, 2011 – Kaukauna, WI – Mike Gardner returned to victory lane on Standard Electric Night at Wisconsin International Raceway on a wild night of racing. Gardner started the 35-lap feature event from tenth position and took the lead from Austin Luedke on lap twelve. Luedke took the lead following the caution on lap four and led until the red flag came out for a chain-reaction crash in turn four. Oil covered most of the track, resulting in a lengthy clean up.

July 14, 2011  – (KAUKAUNA, WI); -  Ross Kenseth won the 75-lap White Race sponsored by Budweiser/WAPL/ Kurz Electric. Kenseth started the race outside the front row, battling with Mike Gardner for the lead. Kenseth led the first seven laps until caution slowed the field on lap eight. Gardner took the lead, re-starting on the outside of Kenseth. Kenseth battled back to lead lap nine, but then Gardner resumed the lead on lap ten. Doug Mahlik and Lowell Bennett were battling for third and fourth place respectively.

Ross Kenseth was victorious in the White Race at Wisconsin International Raceway.

Verhagen Victorious in Limited Late Model Feature

July 7, 2011 – (KAUKAUNA, WI) Todd Verhagen won the 20-lap limited late model feature, his first of the season. Verhagen led the final five laps, after taking the lead from Jimmy Dragich. Verhagen started the race from sixth position, working his way to third behind Andrew Kluck on lap eight.
