win the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model feature race on Saturday night.

West Salem , WI – May 5, 2012 - Rain threatened to hold off racing at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway yet again, but Mother Nature pulled back just in time to get the night under way. And what a night it was. With Brad Powell, Greg Scheck, Jason Bolster, Kim Strom and Andy Moore all taking home feature wins.
May 3, 2012; West Salem, WI. - The 2012 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series will set stage this Saturday night, May 5th, as Whelen Engineering presents the action and excitement of the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, North Country 
Contractors Sportsmen and United Auto Supply Thunderstox. Plus, the Window World Hornets will take to the track and show the action and excitement they provide on the tight tricky quarter mile track.
April 28, 2012; West Salem, WI. – Officials from LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway have cancelled the racing events scheduled for Saturday April 28th. Mother nature took her turn at finding her way to the Speedway’s Victory Lane and she was the big winner for the night. 
The 2012 season will now kick off on Saturday, May 5th as Whelen presents the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, North Country Contractors Sportsmen, United Auto Supply Thunderstox and the Window World Hornets. It’s Food Pantry Donation night, and anyone bringing in $2 or greater worth of non-perishable food items will receive a discount off their adult admission.
The $2 off adult admission coupons from April 28th may be used, but not in combination with the Food Pantry discount. Gates open at 6:00, Qualifying at 6:15, pre-race Kids’ Rides at 6:45 and the first Green Flag will wave at 7:30.

(West Salem, WI. – February 15, 2012 ) Officials from LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway released today the schedule for its 2012 racing season.
“We believe everyone needs to have some good ol’ fashioned American made fun….and that is what our 2012 schedule will provide. Last season we tried some new and fun events, and it went over well with the fans,” commented General Manager Chuck Deery. “We plan to continue many of those concepts this season, and try a few more new things as well. We are in the business of having fun…and by gosh, we going to have fun.”
(West Salem, WI) October 18, 2011 – Officials of the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway announced today that Travis Sauter is named the 2011 Oktoberfest Champion. The 42nd Annual Oktoberfest event was held Oct. 6th-9th at the Speedway in West Salem, and Johnny Sauter was the first across the line for the main event.
However, after a lengthy technical inspection by the sanctioning body – the ASA Midwest Tour, tech inspectors found Johnny Sauter’s car to be outside the rules and regulations for the series. According to ASA Officials, they will still give the win to the driver and car, but all points and money for the win will be forfeited for any rules infraction.

(West Salem, WI – October 9, 2011) – Every year, Johnny Sauter looks at his calendar and makes his plans for one event, the Oktoberfest Race Weekend at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway. Today, he led every lap to finally win the Oktoberfest 100 main event.

(West Salem, WI – October 8, 2011) - Speed was on display tonight for the third day of the 42nd Annual Livewire Energy Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Skylar Holzhausen came from the middle of the field to take the Big 8 Series win. Dan Jung showcased his strong car in the OUTLAWZ feature and James Swan capped off his 2011 Mid-American Series season with a win and a championship.

(West Salem, WI – October 7, 2011) - Neil Knoblock put his name in the history books as the fifth different winner of the Dick Trickle 99 at the 42nd Annual Livewire Energy Oktoberfest Race Weekend. Knoblock joins Steve Holzhausen (2007), Nathan Haseleu (2008), Chris Weinkauf (2009) and Dan Fredrickson (2010) as winners of this popular event.

(West Salem, WI – October 6, 2011) - The racing gods blessed the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway Thursday with great weather and exciting racing for the Livewire Energy and CC106.3 night at the races. Three different drivers were able to race their cars to track championships, while others dragged their cars home in pieces.
