Luxemburg Speedway Honors 2011 Track Champions

(Denmark, WI) January 28– Nearly 220 drivers, track officials and race fans arrived at Pott’s Beverly Gardens Saturday as the 2011 Luxemburg Speedway champions were crowned at the annual awards banquet.

Luxemburg native Benji LaCrosse put a whooping on his foes, winning the Budweiser IMCA modified track title by 50 points over Algoma’s James Lee Tebon. A total of 55 different modified drivers raced in weekly events at the track.

Luxemburg Speedway Awards Banquet Saturday January 28th

(Luxemburg, WI) December 24, 2011 – The 2011 Luxemburg Speedway awards banquet will be held Saturday, January 28 at Beverly Gardens located at 5911 Pine Grove Road in Denmark. 
 
The track champions in the five divisions will be crowned.  Trophies and awards will be presented to the top ten points finishers in the respective divisions.   Rookie of the year honors will be doled out as well, along with the 2011 Mark Reinhard Sportsmanship Award.

Jerovetz and Muench Claim Race of Champion Wins at Luxemburg Speedway

September 16, 2011; Luxemburg, WI. - Sean Jerovetz and Troy Muench captured Race of Champions victories Friday night, highlighting opening round action at Luxemburg Speedway’s Tisler Salvage Fall Classic.

200 race teams packed the pits for the first night’s events, featuring qualifying heats for Saturday night’s features, as well as qualifications and the ROC headliners.

Czarapata Scores Luxemburg Fall Classic Go

(Luxemburg, WI) Sept. 17, 2011 – Pulaski’s Jason Czarapata fended off New Franken’s Shawn Kilgore to capture the modified feature at Luxemburg Speedway Saturday night during night two of the 8th annual Tisler Salvage Fall Classic.

208 cars turned up to compete in the seven division program.

Jason Czarapata (#56) started fifth on the grid and passed early leader Mike Wedelstadt (X) and went on to victory in the IMCA Type Modified main event at Luxemburg Speedway.

Luxemburg Speedway Preps for 2011 Curtain Closer Sept. 16 & 17

(Luxemburg, WI) Sept. 13 – Drivers are prepping for the 8th annual Fall Classic presented by Tisler Salvage September 16 and 17 at Luxemburg Speedway.

A pair of “Race of Champions” races for Modified and Stock Car drivers will be run Friday night, paying $700 to win and $30 to start for the modifieds and $500 to win and $25 to start in the stock cars, thanks to sponsors CZ’s Bushville Lanes, 21 Guns Saloon and 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.

Lakeshore Motorsports Promotions to cancel the season finale sponsored by Tri County Heating at Luxemburg Speedway tonight.
 
As such, the track champions in each division are: Benji LaCrosse, Luxemburg (Budweiser IMCA modifieds), Pulaski’s Junior Karcz (Badgerland Concrete IMCA stock cars), Brad Lautenbach, New Franken, (Tri County Heating IMCA northern sportmods) Marcus Moede, Luxemburg (Pepsi IMCA hobby stocks) and Ralph Liegois Jr., Oconto, (Tisler Salvage Sport 4′s).

RACE OF CHAMPIONS ADDED TO LUXEMBURG SPEEDWAY FALL CLASSIC SEPT. 16 & 17

(Luxemburg, WI) Sept. 1, 2011 – A pair of “Race of Champions” races for Modified and Stock Car drivers have been added to the Friday night show of the 8th annual “Fall Classic” presented by Tisler Salvage at Luxemburg Speedway September 16 and 17.
 
Drivers eligible for the ROC will include any driver who has won a feature event or a track championship in 2011. In addition, any driver that has won a track title in any previous racing season is eligible. The features won to qualify a driver for these special races must have been in either a Modified or Stock car with no crossover allowed.

Champions Crowned on Tri County Heating Championship Night at Luxemburg Speedway Sept 2nd.

(Luxemburg, WI) Aug. 30 – Champions in four classes will be crowned Friday, September 2 at Luxemburg Speedway on Tri County Heating championship night.

In one division the championship has already been decided. Hometown ace Benji LaCrosse already has a whopping 47 point lead over James Lee Tebon of Algoma, thus clinching his fourth career Budweiser IMCA modified title. LaCrosse won titles in 2005-2007 and was the division’s rookie of the year in 2003.
