Street Stocks Ready to Roll at Luxemburg

(Luxemburg, WI) July 6, 2011  – Street stocks will make their second ppearance of  the season at Luxemburg Speedway Friday July 8 at 7 p.m. as Pro Label will
be the night’s sponsor.

In addition, there will be big wheel races on the frontstretch at intermission.  “With another track off on Friday night we should pick up a few more cars this week,”  said track manager Rick Goral. 

Hometown Driver Lacrosse Wins Fourth Main of the Year at Luxemburg Speedway

Hometown driver Benji LaCrosse charged from last place into first on the final lap and went on to capture the 25 lap IMCA modified feature at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night. The win was LaCrosse’s fourth of the year here.

99 Cars turned up to compete, including 19 IMCA modifieds, 22 stock cars, 30 northern sportmods, 15 hobby stocks and 13 sport fours.

Bartel Nets 1ST Luxemburg Mod Feature Flag

(Luxemburg, WI) June 24 — Shiocton’s Chad Bartel passed Little Suamico’s Danny Deau for the lead on lap three and went on to collect his first ever caution free IMCA modified feature at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night. Bartel won his heat, earning a sweep for the evening.

Hometown driver Tyler Smith continued the streak of first time winners, as Smith won his first career feature flag in the IMCA stock car class, netting a clean sweep as well.

111 Cars turned up to compete, including 19 IMCA modifieds, 29 stock cars, 30 northern sportmods, 19 hobby stocks and 14 sport fours.

Extra Cash, Kids Coin Toss and Chain Races at Luxemburg Speedway June 24

(Luxemburg, WI) June 21 – CZ’s Bushville Lanes and Robinson Metals will be
sponsoring the racing program Friday, June 24 at Luxemburg Speedway as drivers
in all five divisions will receive bonus money at the pay window.

In addition, a kid’s coin toss will take place at intermission trackside. A four

LACROSSE SWEEPS LUXEMBURG TOPLESS 30 MOD GO

(Luxemburg, WI) June 17–  Hometown driver Benji LaCrosse led wire-to-wire, collecting the 30 lap, $1,000 Topless 30 IMCA modified feature presented by 21 Guns Saloon at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night.  LaCrosse also won his heat, netting a sweep for the evening.  The win was LaCrosse’s third here of the year.

125 Cars turned up to compete, including 23 Topless modifieds, 27 stock cars, 39 northern sportmods, 22 hobby stocks and 14 sport fours.

LACROSSE BECOMES FIRST REPEAT IMCA MOD FEATURE WINNER AT LUXEMBURG

(Luxemburg, WI) June 3 —  Luxemburg’s Benji LaCrosse passed Seymour’s Brian Mullen for the lead on lap 12 and went on to capture the 25 lap IMCA modified feature at on Miller Beer night Luxemburg Speedway Friday night.  LaCrosse became the first repeat winner of the year in the division.

Shawano’s Shawn Wagner and Abrams’ Scott “Scooter” Boyea each netted clean sweeps in the IMCA stock car and northern sportmod classes, respectively.

110 Cars showed up to compete, including 23 IMCA modifieds, 24 stock cars, 33 northern sportmods, 19 hobby stocks and 11 sport fours.
