Final Night Wrap Up at Shawano Speedway

September 10, 2011 – Shawano, WI;  Though not a point night, the Shawano Speedway held one more race last Saturday night. Terry Anvelink, David Fieber, Lance Arneson, Dan Michonski, Clint Forstner, and Scott Blanke all prevailed in their respective divisions.

“The Tiger” Craig Bartz rocketed from his outside fronti row starting spot to grab the lead at the start of the Wissota Late Model feature. By lap 2 Bartz was being pressured by Anvelink. Anvelink used an inside move to power by Bartz on lap 6.

Ambrosius, Guyette Three In A Row / IMCA Champions Crowned at Seymour

(Seymour, WI) August 28, 2011 -”Dancin” Lance Arneson passed Scott Mullen with just 3 laps remaining to take home his second feature of the season in the IMCA Modifieds at Seymour Super Speedway. Other feature winners were Brian Ambrosius (IMCA Stock Car), Chad Guyette (IMCA Sport Mod), Danny Gracyalny (Street Stock) and Brian Johnson (Four-Cylinders)

Brian Mullen captured the IMCA Modified championship at Seymour Speedway Sunday night.

Seymour would crown Champions in all IMCA sanctioned classes. In the IMCA Modifieds Seymour’s Brian Mullen would add another Championship to his long list of accomplishments. Kyle Fredrick of Oconto Falls took home his first career Championship in the IMCA Stock Cars. In the IMCA Northern Sport Mods, New Franken’s Brad Lautenbach captured his first ever track title by 1 point over Kewaunee’s Brad Theys.

Shawano, WI (Aug. 27, 2011) – With the 2011 race season winding down, Jason Czarapata continues to be the class of the field in the IMCA Modified division at Shawano Speedway as he won his sixth feature of the year Saturday night. Justin Ritchie won his first WISSOTA Late Model feature of the year, while Dan Michonski won his fourth IMCA Stock Car feature. Dave Fieber continues the lead the FASTRAK Late Model division, winning his third feature of the year. Travis Van Straten won his fourth IMCA Northern SportMod feature.
 

Parker & Hudson make it two in a row at Shawano Speedway

            Shawano, WI (Aug. 20, 2011)– Paul Parker and Cody Hudson each won their second straight feature events at Shawano Speedway in the WISSOTA Late Model and IMCA Northern SportMod divisions, respectively. Matt Oreskovich won his first-ever IMCA Modified feature at the Speedway. Brandon Czarapata won the IMCA Stock Car feature while, Justin Hirt won the FASTRAK Late Model feature.

Shawano, WI (Aug. 13, 2011) – Paul Parker edged A.J. Diemel to the line in the WISSOTA Late Model feature to claim his first win of the season at Shawano Speedway. Charlie Wild won his first-ever IMCA Modified feature at the Speedway. Dan Michonski won his third IMCA Stock Car feature of the year, while Cody Hudson won his fourth IMCA Northern SportMod feature. Snellenberger tops IMCA Stock Car field to win $1,000 at Shawano Speedway

Shawano, WI (Aug. 3, 2011) – There were 29 IMCA Stock Cars on hand at Shawano Speedway to do battle in conjunction with the World of Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series. The IMCA Stock Cars were racing for $1,000-to-win. When the dust settled, it was Rod Snellenberger taking home the cash.

Red-Hot Lanigan Rolls To Seventh Victory Of 2011 In Wednesday-Night Visit To Shawano Speedway

SHAWANO, WI – Aug. 3, 2011 – Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky., continued his mid-summer surge, rolling to victory in Wednesday night’s 50-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Series A-Main at Shawano Speedway. 
 
The 41-year-old former series champion overtook Chad Simpson of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, for the lead on lap 26 and cruised to his second straight and seventh overall win of the 2011 season. He matched his single-season career-high win total on the national tour and moved within two triumphs of equaling Scott Bloomquist’s WoO LMS record of nine victories in 2004.

Shawano, WI (July 30, 2011)– Heavy rain during the afternoon made for a lightning fast track during the evening on Hall of Fame Night at Shawano Speedway. A.J. Diemel won his first WISSOTA Late Model feature of the year on the same night his grandfather, Lyle “Pappy” Diemel, was inducted into the Shawano Speedway Hall of Fame. John Peters won his first IMCA Modified feature of the year, while Brandon Czarapata also won his first IMCA Stock Car feature of the year. Justin Hirt won his second FASTRAK Late Model feature, while Clint Forstner won his third IMCA Northern SportMod feature.
