Lautenbach, Degrave, Weckler, Thorton and Liegeois Take Checkers at John Miles Park in Sturgeon Bay

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) October 12, 2011 - Brad Lautenbach continued his winning ways capturing the Sport Mod main event at John Miles Park in Sturgeon Bay. Other feature winners were Dave DeGrave (Stock Car), Aaron Thornton (Street Stock), CJ Weckler (Hobby Stock)and Ralph Liegeois Jr. (Four-Cylinders). The track saw a total of 52 cars take the green flag for the Wednesday night show.

2011 Champions Crowned at Thunderhill Raceway

 (Sturgeon Bay, WI) September 3, 2011 - 103 cars packed the pits as “Hot Rod” Todd Polster outlasted “Chargin” Charlie Kroll to take home his first feature of the season in the IMCA Stock Cars at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway. Other feature winners were Dan Ratajczak (IMCA Modified), Brad Lautenbach (IMCA Sport Mod), Dave Schmidt (IMCA Hobby Stock), Les Sternard (Street Stock) and Charlie Gross (Four-Cylinders).

Halloween Themed Championship Night at Thunderhill Raceway Plus Extra Cash, Sept 3rd.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 30, 2011 - Thunderhill Raceway prepares for the final point night of 2011 on September 3. Champions will be crowned in all 6 divisions. The night will also feature a Halloween theme where fans, drivers and track workers are invited to dress up in costumes. Drivers and crew are encourage to decorate their trailer in the Halloween theme for the children.

Dave “The Bulldozer” Bouche Takes IMCA Stock Car Main at Thunderhill

Big Winner's in the evening's IMCA Sport Modifieds included Brad Lautenbach (#21) who held off Eric Arneson on his way to winning the “King of The Hill” Sport Mod Tournament. Arneson (#74) topped the regular main event for the evening.

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 17, 2011 - Fresh off a feature win in the Street Stocks last week, Dave Bouche would muscle his way inside Bret Koehler with 4 laps remaining to take home his first IMCA Stock Car feature of the season at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway. Brad Lautenbach passed Rod Solem and held off Eric Arneson on his way to winning the “King of The Hill” Sport Mod Tournament. Other feature winners were Eugene Gregorich Sr. (IMCA Modified), Eric Arneson (IMCA Sport Mod), Marcus Moede (IMCA Hobby Stock), Aaron Thornton (Street Stock), and Calvin Stueck (Four-Cylinders)
 

Thunderhill Sport Mod King of the Hill & 300th Street Stock Feature Sat. Aug 27th!

(Sturgeon Bay, WI) August 24, 2011 – IMCA Sport Mod appreciation night will kick off on Saturday August 27 at Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway. The Sport Mods take their turn racing for extra cash in the “King of The Hill” race.
 
 $500 will be spread out to the top 5 finishers in the King of the Hill race, with the winner taking home $300. There is NO extra fee at the back gate for the Sport Mod King of The Hill. How it works
the top 10 finishers in the feature will automatically be in, then we will take 2 provisional’s (the highest drivers in points who didn’t make it in the top 10).

After A Four Year Hiatus The “Powder Puff” Returns to The Hill!
