Sunday, September 4, 2011 – Tomahawk, WI. – With the racing rained out on Saturday night, Tomahawk Speedway held the second day of their two-day event on Sunday afternoon. With racing scheduled to begin at 3:00, rain delayed racing for an hour on a track that earlier in the day looked to be unmanageable due to continued showers up until 2:00.
A big day of racing did successfully happen with racing in five divisions plus mechanics’ races and powder puff races. Without the extra efforts of track personnel working together, this event would have never become reality.
